Public Art Now regret to inform you that the conference due to take place on the 29-31 October 2020 has been postponed. They have monitored how the Covid-19 pandemic has developed nationally and internationally and for these reasons, made the decision to reschedule Public Art Now conference for spring 2021.
The organisers will resume preparations for the conference in the autumn and new dates for the conference will be announced on the website publicartnow.eu and on social media. They will extend the time frame in
which you can purchase tickets or submit a presentation to the conference. Of course, with regards to all of you who have submitted a presentation for inclusion in the conference, they will be happy to include your papers in the rescheduled peer review process.
Public Art Now appreciate that many of you have endured numerous cancellations and postponements, and that this news will be very disappointing for many people. Over the last few weeks as situations and regulations changed they have tried to avoid this situation. However with concern for safety and in response to logistics they made this difficult choice. At this time Public Art Now would like to acknowledge the hard work and important contributions that have been made by committee members and colleagues. They look forward to reconnecting with everyone again in autumn.
Our current global situation and how it develops will prompt new questions, new considerations and new challenges for public art. Arguably, the need for Public Art Now conference is stronger than ever. Public Art Now look forward to discussing and addressing many of these concerns with all of you in spring 2021. In the meantime, if you need any clarifications please contact publicartnow@tudublin.iepublicartnow@tudublin.ie
